Part-Time Book Publicity Intern

Sabrina Dax is seeking a part-time publicity intern to assist with day-to-day PR and marketing activities as well as to provide administrative support. This job requires excellent organizational and research skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Preference will be given to candidates who are comfortable with Cision. Passion for books and literature is a plus. I am looking for someone who I can trust to operate on high level PR campaigns with minimal supervision. 

The internship will be initially capped at 3 months, however there is a lot of room for growth and advancement for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include

  • Developing media lists

  • Pitching media contacts

  • Maintaining reports

  • Putting together tour schedules for clients

Occasional responsibilities may include

  • Updating my website

  • Social media support

  • Assistance with invoicing and maintaining expenses

Hours

I am looking for someone who can work 10-15 hours for week. You will be working either with me or remotely depending on the day.

Duration

October 1-December 31, 2018.
